Our review of ONE PIECE: RED, which we strongly recommend you recreate, has highlighted all the elements of a hugely successful film. However, the feature’s director, Goro Taniguchi, has to be commended for managing to avoid a massive leak.
For the uninitiated, our site also features an interview with the director of ONE PIECE: RED, who told us about the film’s creative process and ambitions. In any case, it was the director himself who gave interesting background information about the production phase.
In the film we actually see leg Combat using techniques suggested by Eiichiro Oda, however, Taniguchi had inserted several more attacks, absolutely wrong, to confuse insiders and avoid massive spoilers against fans, without taking into account the desire to give the manga the honor of revealing the aces up the Emperor’s sleeve. We don’t know if those words imply that or not Shanks has skills other than swordsmanship and haki in his handsbut very soon we could know his true abilities.
And you, but what do you think of these statements? But more importantly, how strong is Shanks the Red really? As usual, let us know what you think with a comment below.
In Film Red, we saw Shanks fight Pirates based on the advice of Oda. But the director intentionally employed some *wrong* fighting styles, although some are true. He was concerned that Red might spoil manga fans’ predictions and thought that the full fighting styles should be revealed in the manga.🥰 pic.twitter.com/Y7wfbfbN65
