In celebration of the Christmas holiday, the ONE PIECE anime temporarily paused the battle in the land of Wano. It was actually transmitted a Special episode titled “Recap of the most intense battles! The Straw Hats vs. the Tobiroppo!” showing the best of what has happened in Onigashima so far.
Through a nice little theater, Chibi Zoro and Sanji reminded the viewers of the main events of the terrible fight that takes place in Onigashima between the two Mugiwara and the Pirates of the Hundred Beasts.
The swordsman and the cook left with an explanation about the Tobioppo, the six officers of Emperor Kaido’s garrison and their forces. In this circle of elite pirates we find Page One, Ulti, Who’s Who, Black Maria, Sasaki and X-Drake. The special episode begins with the spotlight turning to the latter’s betrayal, who asked Luffy to fight at his side.
The special then continues Battle between Page One and Nami and usop. It was not the two Mugiwara who defeated Tobiroppo, but Yonko Big Mom, angry at the news of the destruction of little Otama’s village.
The next clash was between Ulti and Nami, which the latter was able to defeat thanks to his new ally Zeus, abandoned by Big Mom. Then it’s on to the battle between Who’s Who and Jinbei. The Tobiroppo reveals that he is a former member of CP9 who lost his position due to the Red Shank crew stealing the Gom Gom fruit. In search of revenge and the truth about the warrior Nika, he challenges the Mugiwara’s helmsman, but he achieves a great victory.
Another major battle that took place in Onigashima is the one she was involved in Frankie and Sasaki, defeated thanks to a cleverness of the builder Mugiwara. The last of the fights in this round-up is between Robin and Black Maria. After Maria forces her to relive the horrors of Ohara, she is defeated by the archaeologist’s demonic form. The battle between the two crews continues with the release of ONE PIECE 1046. This time it’s Zoro and Sanji’s turn to face off against King and Queen.
