The vastness of ONE PIECE and the multitude of very interesting characters that appear in the story have led to the birth of spin-off series that continue to thrive with the most loyal of readers. Shogukeki no Sanji by duo Tsukuda and Saeki, authors of Food Wars, is one of them and is an incredible tribute to Oda's work.

Born as an in-depth study of the life of Mugiwara chef Vinsmoke Sanji, with a prominent look at the dishes he has prepared himself, the series has completed on July 25, 2022, after more than four years of publication on the pages of Shueisha Publishing's main magazine, Weekly Shonen Jump. On the occasion of the release of the new volume in Japan, the artist Saeki wanted to insert a special illustration in the relevant register, dedicated to the protagonist of the pirate epic: Monkey D Luffy.
