The world of ONE PIECE is very diverse and often open to topics that are seldom addressed in a shonen. It's been a while since the okama existed in the Oda manga, but the Wano saga writer decided to investigate certain situations by introducing Kiku and other people. He researched some of them with the Vivre Card data book.

We got to know some characters better from the Pirates of the Hundred Beasts and Wano, but there was also room for individuals that we saw many volumes ago. One of them is Morley, a member of the Revolutionary Army and one of the strongest in the group. It's been a long time since his fleeting appearance on ONE PIECE, but the mangaka took advantage of the arrival of the Vivre Card data book to reveal information about him.

As explained on the character sheet, Morley is transsexual. More specifically, the term used is "Newkama" which is precisely used to describe characters who have had a transition, accompanied by a description we have already seen for Kiku: Man outside, but woman in heart. The Vivre Card then describes Morley as the "shy and childish graves of the giant race" and uses the term "atashi" in Japanese to refer to themselves, mainly used by little girls to express themselves nicely.

In the SBS of ONE PIECE 100, however, more information about CP9 and CP0, Page One, Ulti and many other characters that populate this rich pirate universe created by Eiichiro Oda has arrived.
