Ace’s death in ONE PIECE was one of the most important events of the entire storyline, not only because it anticipated that of Whitebeard, but also because of the impact his death had on the protagonist, Monkey D. Luffy. In fact, after this event, our hero changed a lot.
Eiichiro Oda’s masterpiece enjoys several theories, some more concrete and possible than others. But in the realm of hypotheses, from time to time, some rather interesting considerations emerge that deserve to be analyzed. In this regard, one of them is wondering whether the current Luffywho had been after the events of Wano able to save his brother in Marineford.
To be honest, it is important to reiterate that the protagonist managed to save even under the circumstances ace and that the latter’s death was caused by his error, prompted by a provocation of Akainu. Still, one cannot help but wonder if the captain of the Mugiwara, today one of the 4 emperors, could not have prevented the fatal blow of the current Grand Admiral, which also cost his brother his life. If the Marineford saga had taken place at this point in history, many things would likely have gone differently, starting with the death of Barabianca as the Navy had to face two Emperors.
But how do you think it would have turned out? As usual, let us know what you think with a comment below.
