A goal like that of more than 1000 chapters is achieved by very few manga. At least Osamu Akimoto’s Kochikame has been successful at the Weekly Shonen Jump. With the publication of Shueisha magazine on December 4th, too ONE PIECE will reach this anticipated milestone what was celebrated in different ways.
Beyond the countdown designed by Oda and published week after week, Weekly Shonen Jump decided to dedicate the covers and opening pages in color for two consecutive issues to ONE PIECE to create a mega-poster, the magazine’s largest in the world. Only half of the image had leaked so far, published with Chapter 999 by ONE PIECE.
However, considering the next issue of the magazine, there are already quite a few people who have managed to get their hands on it second part of the poster published with ONE PIECE 1000. Thanks to this, we can see in the photo under the mega poster with the full Mugiwara. As previously known, Eiichiro Oda has used the color page used in Chapter 100 of ONE PIECE to update it with all new Mugiwara characters.
All in all, The poster is 16 pageswhich makes it really huge. A respectable homage to ONE PIECE.
