For a few hours we have been able to read the story number 998 of ONE PIECE with a certain and recently introduced group. THE Tobi Roppo definitely exhibited her devil fruitswith Eiichiro Oda, who concentrated on each of the six members with many double pages.

But in a chapter entirely focused on Kaido’s subordinates, the finale gave fans that Return of the Portuguese D. Ace. In fact, we returned to Yamato and Momonosuke on the last page of ONE PIECE 998 after seeing Page One and Ulti again in their dinosaur version. The girl recalled a happy moment from her past when Ace arrived on the island to kill Kaido and in the process destroyed a dragon-shaped statue that was outside the gates of the island.

The hatching type entered by Eiichiro Oda on the edge of the vignette is used for the transition to a flashback. Readers of the ONE PIECE manga will have seen this author’s trick several times, and this suggests it ONE PIECE 999 begins with Yamato’s review of his meeting with Ace.

We already saw a long review during the third act of Wanokuni, with Gol D. Roger and Oden Kozuki at the center, and Oda may want to respond with another Story about the past of the world of ONE PIECE. The possibility that the review extends to Chapter 1000 and beyond, including key revelations, is unquestionable.

But it is also likely that these memories only occupy the first part of the chapter, while Luffy arrives at the top of the dome at the end to meet Kaido. Not to mention that Zoro, Marco, and Nico Robin are likely to be associated with a new adversary in this chapter as well, as are their three companions in chapter 998. As a result, we may have the first three to four pages with Ace and Yamato and then a series of meetings that could be Zoro and Marco versus King and Brook versus Hawkins.

ONE PIECE 999 will arrive on MangaPlus on Sunday December 20th at 17:00 in English and Spanish.
