The world has now entered a new era. Eiichiro Oda ended the Wano saga, allowing Luffy and his companions to finally end the war against the Emperors Big Mom and Kaido in one fell swoop. The win was sensational and shocked everyone and what it accomplished forced many updates to the crew and beyond.
ONE PIECE 1058 begins with Caesar Clown's request to join Germa 66, which could lead to the birth of a super-scientific group. But the real story of Luffy and his companions begins on page 2, with the crew now moved away from Wano. The posters are resized, with Zoro, Jinbe and Sanji surpassing the billion berries.
It then surprisingly passes Cross Guild, is currently located on Buggy Island. The Clown is being held hostage by Crocodile and Mihawk, who have not taken the situation well as the Marines now mistake him for the boss. Some flashbacks explain how the situation arose when Mihawk was contacted by Crocodile and the latter attacked the naval vessels besieging Buggy Island.
In this way, the Navy assumed that Buggy was boss, while the pirate owed money to Crocodile instead. For the moment, the situation calms down and Buggy is saved, albeit at a delicate moment. ONE PIECE 1058 ends with two pages dedicated to the revolutionary army, fled to Ivankov's island of Kamabakka. As they wonder what happened, Sabo calls them but is intercepted by the Navy.
