As the fight with Kaido ended, so did the end of Wano. The very long ONE PIECE saga began a few years ago, in the distant 2019, with three acts currently in progress but with little else to tell. The next island where the Mugiwara will land is getting closer and closer.
With ONE PIECE 1056 reference is made to other subplots that arose on the island or that began with this long imperial saga. In an interview, Kinemon apologizes for not being present during the admiral's attack, but instead visiting O-Tsuru, who was alive despite a burn to her face. Carrot is instead used by Nekomamushi and Inuarashi e elected the new regent of Zou, since the two will stay in Wano. Shinobu instead returned younger and took O-Tama as her student. Instead, Momonosuke, now Wano's new shogun, watches the island's progress and meets his grandfather.
A few days later, Momonosuke and Kinemon were not greeted by Luffy and his companions. The protagonist of ONE PIECE is at the docks with Kid and Law, talking about the route he should take now and Buggy's situation. who formed Cross Guild with Crocodile and Mihawk. But the finale reveals another surprise: Yamato is ready to go to the port to ask to become the eleventh Mugiwara and travel the world with it.
