The mysteries of the Gom Gom fruit that have come to light during the Wano saga have finally found an outlet, culminating in an extremely important event that will radically change ONE PIECE. However, Eiichiro Oda’s manga defers some explanations, leaving room for the big Fight between Luffy and Kaidothe last one in Onigashima.
With the Awakening of the Devil FruitLuffy has grown tremendously and despite the ease with which he handles it, the protagonist always seems to bounce back from any enemy attack and make fun of it. All of this then resulted in the Straw Hat Pirate resisting Kaido’s attacks and instead responding with heavy blows. By now the Emperor is tired and cornered, he may be very close to the end.
In ONE PIECE 1046 we could see Kaido’s expected defeat. This fight, which now extends from chapter 1000 with changing phases, must end soon in order not to go too far in this final phase.
