Kaido’s forces were immensely superior to those of the samurai and their allies, so the CP0 kept the record and noted the disparity between the two factions. But over time this ONE PIECE battle has started to change course because of Queen’s infamous gestures and O-Tama’s tactics.
First the betrayal of the queen and then the order of O-Tama brought several Kaido pirates to the side of the samurai and Luffy. Now everything seems to be turning in favor of the protagonists of ONE PIECE, even if, as chapter 1017 shows, the difficult officers still have to be dealt with. And in the next weekly appointment with the manga by Eiichiro Oda could face an expected confrontation between two of these.
ONE PIECE 1018 could actually focus on Jinbe VS Who’s Who, the two who completed the last chapter. Given the timing of the war, it might be the right time for Oda to briefly end some of the ongoing clashes, particularly Jinbe, Franky, and Inuarashi. Given the Who’s Who Gom Gom Fruit reveal, a flashback would also be possible that would at least briefly explain why the world government was so interested in protecting this devil fruit. Closed this topic, which is sure to come out later in the manga, we could see a clash between the two.
