For the protagonists of ONE PIECE, the fight for Onigashima is tough. Kaido’s crew is full-bodied and as if that wasn’t enough, there is also Big Mom on the island, a real loose cannon that makes it even more difficult for the alliance between samurai and pirates. And in the last chapters of ONE PIECE, it has not improved.
Defeated by Kaido, Luffy was thrown into the water. The protagonist of ONE PIECE has obviously begun to sink into the depths of the sea in possession of a devil fruit, without being able to move or breathe. An almost decisive death, only that obviously someone intervened to save Luffy.
While in the Chapter 1015 of ONE PIECE Luffy used his voice to communicate with Momonosuke, telling him to warn everyone that he would return to fight, at sea he will be accompanied by the crew of Trafalgar Law. The group was actually still in the water with their submarine and was unable to land on Onigashima as the island began to float in the air due to Kaido’s power.
So the guys from Law’s group crossed paths with Luffy’s body, which sank deeper and deeper and most likely saved him from the off. We will therefore see the protagonist fighting many other times, also come back to the last fight with Kaido.
