Mangakas and animators for years They even propose their characters during the meal, sometimes representing them while enjoying typical Japanese food, sometimes more generic dishes. The food scenes animated by Studio Ghibli are engraved in the minds of all fans of these products. However, there is one food that has never been real.

The meat that has always been eaten by the shonen protagonists, the one with a bone full of meat to eat, is almost impossible to find in reality. At least it has been until now as someone in Japan has thought of recreating it. And thanks for creating the flesh of souls it goes to the artisans of Seto, a city in Aichi Prefecture, who recreated it by hand.

The chosen official name is “Meat on the Bone from Manga“, with that cylinder of meat wrapped precisely around the bone so you can bite your teeth and fill your mouth. The image below shows you the end result of this 26cm piece of beef. L The bone comes in two versions, one complete white as you always see in anime, and another darker one that represents more of reality.

There Meat is of course edible, with plenty of beef on that bone to give the same feel that anime meat gives. So now you can also eat like Goku, but he didn’t just feed on it: did you know that Dragon Ball’s Senseu were also officially created?
