Tomura Shigaraki was the absolute protagonist of the final episodes of the fifth season of My hero academyfrom the clash with the Superpowers Liberation Army to memories of his childhood and the first manifestation of his quirk. Interesting details about his name von Villain also surfaced among the revelations.
The clash with Re-Destro weighed down Shigaraki, who vividly remembered some key events in his existence. Born as Tenko Shimura, The villain was inadvertently guilty of killing his parents due to Quirk Degeneration, and from then on he embarked on a dark path and grew through the teachings of All For One.
It is the same original leader of the Union of Villain who gave him the name Tomura Shigaraki, and thanks to his memories we also discover the reasons for this choice. Tomura comes from the verb tomurauwhich can be translated as the act of expressing pain and suffering in the face of death and parting. A unique choice for All For One is the will to transform the boy into someone who can sow death and destruction.
Shigaraki is derived from All For One’s real last name instead, and underlines once again the father-son bond Villain immediately wanted to establish with Tomura. Finally, we leave you the community reaction at the end of My Villain Academia, reminding you that the episode scheduled for September 25th will be the last of the fifth season of My Hero Academia.
