After the kind words of Kishimoto, Naruto seems to have officially passed on his difficult legacy to Deku and the other protagonists of My hero academia. And as a symbol of appreciation, Horikoshi made this sketch.
The sales of Naruto and My Hero Academia show how they are currently two of the most best works in the Shonen scene. But if the Kishimoto franchise is long gone, Horikoshi’s has yet to do its best.
As has been known for some time, the two mangaka respect each other and they admire each other. In fact, Horikoshi has repeatedly highlighted how Naruto influenced his work. After Kishimoto’s spectacular My Hero Academia poster, this time exactly the opposite happened. We admire Naruto, drawn by Horikoshi.
As you can see, the illustration is a real work of art. Horikoshi pulled Naruto into a crouch and put his hands out in front of him to throw a Rasengan. In addition, the Seventh Hokage has a kunai in his teeth. The artistic style of Horikoshi fits particularly well of Naruto, but what do you think of this illustration? Will the two mangakas merge into a hypothetical crossover? There is only death, despair and doom in My Hero Academia 296.
