My Hero Academia’s final war arc finally gives fans the big fight they’ve been waiting for, pitting professional heroes against All For One’s League of Villain army.
In the final chapters of the My Hero Academia manga, we finally learned something new the grand plan devised by All Might to defeat All For One’s forces. Thanks to Monoma’s Quirk, he managed to copy Kurogiri’s Quirk, the Warp Gate, to split the League of Villains into smaller factions. Some of UA’s biggest pro heroes and students now face the Plus Ultra Shigaraki – but they manage to advance brilliantly.
The hero team’s “Shigaraki faction” chose their battlefield very carefully. In fact, they built it completely from scratch. Shigaraki’s “cage” is a ‘floating arena covered with an electromagnetic barrier this puts a strain on the villain’s body and senses.
There are Meander threads made of thick fabric tested by Best Jeanist, which can hit Shigaraki or tie him up completely. The craziest part is there though Combination of technical devices bringing the arena together to thwart Shigaraki’s destructive quirk.
Mei Hatsumethe all-star of the support class, stands at the heart of the arena, overseeing the situation and working with the likes of rock castle, Momo Yaoyorozu, ectoplasm, midday rush, power loader and other. Together, the team is able to convert the AU’s new defensive armor into a system for ejecting tiles that can be thrown and replaced at the same rate Shigaraki tries to destroy them. Energy-generating heroes like Kaminari and comedian Class 1-B provide the energy needed to operate the huge machine.
To suppress Shigaraki’s powers, Eraser Head sets up an engineered version of his Erasure quirk – which was damaged when he lost an eye in the manga’s final war. Monoma managed to copy the Erasure quirkNormal Hero: Manual uses his Water quirk to keep Monoma’s eyes fresh so the Erasmus can run uninterrupted.
It’s an incredible and articulate strategy. koei Horikoshi managed to bring all the supporting characters together and also some of the background heroes in an impressive unit. The Shigaraki Arena uses so many features effectively that it’s really a shame that it doesn’t seem to work in the end.
In fact, this chapter of My Hero Academia ends with Shigaraki prevailing and the bunny heroine Mirko could be the first to pay the price. We remind you that you can read the latest chapters of My Hero Academia on MANGA Plus.
