While the weekly publication on the digital service MangaPlus and the print magazine Weekly Shonen Jump allows readers to always stay in the company of their favorite heroes, the manga releases instead allow to discover unnoticed secrets and details. Here’s one of them My Hero Academia Volume 33 Extras.
The 33rd tankobon in Kohei Horikoshi’s manga series recently made its official debut in Japan. Chapters from 319 to 328. Still far from the last date published on MangaPlus and Shonen Jump, this publication allows us to clarify the events and rediscover some details left behind.
Volume 33 of My Hero Academia covers the part of the series dedicated to that Battle between Dark Deku and Class 1-A companions, as well as Midoriya’s subsequent return within the walls of Yuei High School. Finally, an unclear incident has now been officially cleared up. Not only that, even the back cover of My Hero Academia Vol. 33 gives a hint about the plot.
In one of the additional pages of the manga, Sensei Horikoshi explained to readers why, in order to prevent Deku from being attacked by escapees, Present Mic used a megaphone instead of his own voice.
The professor’s quirk allows him to do it amplifies his voice on exponential levels and therefore would not require additional tools. However, considering the situation he found himself in, he preferred to use the megaphone so as not to cause discomfort among the fugitives scare civilians. What appeared to be an error on the part of the author is therefore a reasonable decision on his part.
