Deku has been through a lot since the beginning My hero academy. In just one year, the young hero went from having absolutely no quirks or skills to one of the most important quirks of all time, encompassing the power of other quirks of other great heroes.
It was understandably tough, and the final war from My Hero Academia Test him further by putting even more responsibility on his shoulders. Deku had come forward with the sole aim of defeating all the villains, and in the last phase he took this to the extreme, attempting to shoulder everything at the expense of his own mental and physical health.
In the final moments before the war, Deku breathed a sigh of relief thanks to his friends from Class 1-A stepping in to help (fight against) him. Midoriya He’s now honed for the ultimate war on criminals.
Finally, in the latest chapter, Deku must pursue a different goal than the heroes plan. Luckily, the young hero realizes that he can rely on others and focus only on his struggles.
Chapter 348 of My Hero Academia continues after Toga’s explanation to Deku. He only takes a moment’s break from fighting to process it all, and ends anyway reject Himiko Toga’s declaration of love. The latter then decides to gun him down because she no longer thinks he is special, which shakes Deku even more.
But he soon recovers thanks to the Rescue of Ochaco Uraraka and Tsuyu Asui, who also convince him to return to his main goal. The young student also worries about Toga’s feelings for having to abandon her, but that has to be the least of his worries in a situation like this.
Deku has now been physically and emotionally shattered both inside and out, and with Ochaco leading him once again, Deku returns to focus on his primary goal, which is to Defeat Tomura Shigaraki as quickly as possible.
However, unlike the first time he chased Shigaraki, Deku now understands that he can shift some of his weight onto his teammates so that everyone can share the weight of that responsibility. He doesn’t have to be the one to defeat Toga and he can only focus on Shigaraki.
