Chapter 316 of My Hero Academia is now available on MangaPlus and, as anticipated by Shonen Jump’s early spoilers, revealed the end of the battle between Deku and two antagonists and the beginning of what could be the turning point of history.
Chapter 315 of My Hero Academia had ended with the alleged death of Lady Nagant, which exploded due to a quirk implanted in her by All for One without her knowledge. After escaping from Tartarus, the villain had reached the girl by giving her a second quirk and asking her to catch Deku, and at the same time he had placed a bomb in it to detonate in case of failure.
Chapter 316 begins with Lady Nagant, who is still alive when she is badly injured in the explosion. The selected shooter is still conscious but her injuries prevent her from air walks and Deku is too tired to intervene. Endevor and Hawks appear to rescue himHe rushed to the battle site at All Might’s request.
Hawks rescues Lady Nagant and introduces herself as her “replacement” and reminds her of her time in public security. Hero number two then asks Lady Nagant to do so reveal the whereabouts of Deku, who was handed over, and the girl – impressed by the courage of the protagonist and the optimism of Hawks – manages to find the strength to reveal the meeting point, a villa in the Haibori forest.
Meanwhile, Endeavor conquers Overhaul, who is still shocked, is furious with Deku for stealing the opportunity to apologize to his old boss. Midoriya offers him an agreement at this point: If Overhaul will apologize to Eri for everything he has done to her, then he will bring him back to the old leader of the Shie Hassaikai and thus give him the opportunity to redeem himself. The villain’s response does not appear, but shortly after Endeavor contacts law enforcement, it indicates it both Lady Nagant and Kai Chisaki are in her care.
Some time later, Deku, Endeavor, Kamui Woods, Edgeshot, Mt. Lady and Best Jeanist go to the villa named by Lady Nagant to capture All for One, but only find a video message in it. All for One reveals that it always knew Lady Nagant would be defeated, and after a brief monologue on the state of hero society, he declares that he is no longer interested in All Might and that the only person he can think of is Deku. All for One imitates All Might’s gesture to Kamino and tells the protagonist it’s his turn now and detonates some explosives that are placed in the mansion.
