The Japanese portal Mantan Web posted an interview with one of the producers of the animated light novel adaptation Mushoku Tensei: reincarnation without work ((Mushoku Tensei: Isekai Ittara Honki Dasu). The producer who answered the questions was Nobuhiro Osawa, Founder of the production company Egg proof and that he participated in projects like Sword art online, Dungeon ni Deai wo Motomeru no wa Machigatteiru Darou ka? ((DanMachi), Prison school, No gun life, Golden time, among many others.
Although the interview is quite long, one detail was highlighted on Japanese networks that was mentioned about the production of the series and the main objective: «Knowing of its existence and reading its plot, I immediately wanted to participate in the animated production of Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation, and immediately contacted the editor-in-chief. So far I have participated in the anime adaptations of light novels like Sword Art Online and DanMachi, but Mushoku Tensei was a project that I had long wanted to see animated. I hope I can convey this excitement to everyone and all the love the production team offers to make a good project.».
The series has aired in Japan since January 10th and has been confirmed with a total of 23 episodes. The broadcast is divided into two parts, which are broadcast separately. Although it has not been officially confirmed, the distribution of its volumes suggests that the first half will have eleven episodes, while the second, which is expected to premiere in the 2021 summer season (July-September), will have twelve episodes. After all, Funimation owns the distribution rights.
