Coinciding with the release of the TV series on the Disney+ platformmoon knight Produced by Marvel Studios and part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, the House of Ideas, in collaboration with the American company Funko, has officially announced the launch of a very special Funko Pop dedicated to the origins of vigilantes.
Designed by Doug Moench and Don Perlin The character of Moon Knight, Marc Spector’s alter ego, made his first appearance in the volume Werewolf by Night #32, released August 1975, where he appeared with red eyes and a different costume than we know him today, and where he played the Role of paid mercenary to kill Jack Russel. later in March 1976 appeared on the cover of Marvel Spotlight #28, showcasing a new design that led many readers to learn more about the mysterious story behind the vigilante.
And it’s this illustration that inspired the newcomer to the series Funko pop comic cover, of which you can find two promotional images below. The reference design was created specifically for this volume, as if to mark a new era for the hero and his true debut in the Marvel Comics catalogue. Currently the product is sold out in many online stores where it was priced at $19.99but it’s unlikely that Funko hasn’t yet prepared a replenishment given the impressive reception of the Moon Knight series.
