The Mother of Dragons describes the series as “a seemingly lighthearted story inspired by Deadpool but with a feminist twist”.
MOM: mother of madness is a three-issue miniseries written by Emilia Clarke and Marguerite Bennett (Batgirl, Catwoman) and drawn by Leila Leiz and Isobel Richardson, with a cover by Jo Ratcliffe. “We always call mothers superheroes, so I thought what if they really are?“Emilia Clarke Explained Entertainment Weekly’s Microphones”Maya had a difficult life and at the beginning of the story finds herself in a situation where she is ashamed. However, after discovering that he has superpowers, he finds the courage to face his demons and begins to accept himself for who he is. […] It can do so much and I find it very fascinating. For me it was an incredible adventure, I am very happy because what we have created is a heroine who can fail. Today all comics feature perfect, unbeatable women, and I think some of that is missing“.
Emilia Clarke is therefore preparing for a very stimulating double experience, the first as a comic book writer and the second as a co-star of a new Marvel series. We are waiting to talk to you in more detail about MOM: Mother of Madness, and we leave you with the latest sayings from the actress about the new Game of Thrones spin-offs.
