Summary of Mob Psycho 100
Shigeo “Mob” Kageyama, an eighth grade student, tapped his inner source of psychic abilities at an early age. But power quickly proves to be a stumbling block when he realizes the potential threat to his abilities. Mob decides to suppress his power and is currently only using his ability to impress his longtime crush, Tsubomi, who will soon get bored of the same tricks.
To exercise control over his abilities, Mob goes under the wing of Arataka Reigen, a con man who claims to be a clairvoyant who takes advantage of Mob’s powers for pocket money. Now it has become part of mob’s monotonous everyday life to drive out evil spirits. The psychic energy he exerts, however, is only the tip of the iceberg; If his enormous potential and unbridled emotions go wild, it will trigger a catastrophic event that would make him completely unrecognizable. As the mob explosion continues, there is no point in trying to stop it.
