Almost 6 years have passed since the release of the first season of Masamune-kun’s revenge, the anime adaptation of the manga, written by Hazuki Takeoka and drawn by Tiv. Just last year, the series made a comeback with the official announcement of Season 2, which should be imminent.

Regrettably the Covid-19 pandemic Still complicated the situation in the animation industry with some titles having to be postponed, if only for a few weeks as in the case of Nier: Automata. However, the Masamune-kun’s Revenge sequel was scheduled to be released in the spring season in April, but due to complications caused by the virus, the production had to postpone the release of the new episodes.

Well then, Masamune-kun’s Revenge 2 is now expected to debut in the summer season, more precisely in July 2023. We don’t know if other titles will get the same treatment or if they’ll be shifted by a course like the sequel to this anime did, but we’ll keep you updated given the ever-changing situation.

And you, on the other hand, expected this shift? As usual, let us know by leaving a comment in the appropriate box below.
