Within a few weeks, the Marvel Comics will revolutionize the entire digital purchasing process of your works. Starting from June 2nd, the Marvel Digital Comics Shop will close its doors, and all digital comics must be purchased through the Marvel Comics app present on IOS and Android devices.

However, if you prefer to do your reading sessions in front of a PC or Mac screen, the productions of the House of Ideas will be accessible thanks to the comiXology service. The publisher has communicated this update to its subscribers by email, informing them that all their digital comics purchased on the Digital Comics Shop will be automatically available on the Marvel application.

In addition, Marvel is trying to integrate a function for which you can synchronize the app to your comiXology account, so that purchases are immediately available both on Mobile and on PC without having to perform further authentication.

The publishing house is making a choice in line with the current problems of the industry, and despite having made timid steps towards physical publication, at the moment the digital path is the preferred one. The plan is to return to a gradual diffusion of its products; in the coming weeks the new releases will have priority, gradually increasing the quantity on the market.

Marvel Comics will soon resume publishing their works. Meanwhile, Dan Slott is preparing to leave the Iron Man magazine.
