Irish artist Stephen Byrne, born in 1986, has collaborated on several occasions with the two giants of American comics, Marvel Comics and DC comicsand has returned to surprise readers and fans of the vast Marvel Cinematic Universe by showing a chibi version of the superheroes that inhabit it, with the addition of a particular Dark Knight.
By presenting the project titled by Marvel Chums Universe animated, Byrne shared on social networks the beautiful illustration and the spectacular animated video that you can see at the bottom of the page. This is a very brief synopsis of what happened in the first four phases of the MCU, also considering the major events seen in the original series produced by Marvel Studios.
Between superheroes, alternate versions and villains, the illustration holds up well 74 depictions of various characters in chibi format, all made with incredible attention to original design. The video instead begins with a short sequence presenting the six original Avengers, who are abruptly replaced by their chibi versions, who suddenly appeared from the portals.
Then follows about a minute where the events of WandaVision, Loki, Shang Chi, Spider-Man No Way Home, Moon Knight, with a nice Batman cameo. Tell us what you think in the comments section.
