On the official site for the animated adaptation of the manga written and illustrated by Kore Yamazaki, Mahoutsukai no Yome ((The bride of the old magus) the production of a new season of OVAs for the project was confirmed.

The project bears the title Mahoutsukai no Yome: Nishi no Shounen to Seiran no Kishi and will include an original story written by the author himself. It will be included in the special editions of volumes 16 to 18 of the work, with the first planned for September 10th.
Yamazaki started publishing the manga in the magazine Monthly comic blade from the publisher Likes garden in November 2013 and made it into the magazine Monthly cartoon garden in September 2014 where it is still being released. The publisher released the fourteenth compiled volume on September 10 in Japan.
