It has been reported that the fourth Blu-ray / DVD compilation of the game’s anime adaptation for smartphones, Magia Record: Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica Gaiden 5,119 copies were sold in Blu-ray format and 558 in DVD format. In the first week since launching on August 5th, a total of 5,677 copies were sold.
This volume contains episodes 8-10 and was released in the Blu-ray version at a price of 7,800 yen ($ 75) and in the DVD version at 6,800 yen ($ 65).
On the other hand, the series premiered on January 4th under the production of the studios wave, the address of Gekidan Inu Currywho also wrote the scripts while being assisted by Yukihiro Miyamoto, the director of the original series. Synopsis for Magia Record: Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica Gaiden
The story of the game, a spin-off of the anime Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica, takes place in the city of Kamihama. Magical girls gather there, guided by a strange force to fight each other and gain a new power that is withdrawn from the witches. Iroha Tamaki comes to town and joins the other girls in search of his younger sister Ui, who has disappeared. It doesn’t take long for Homura Akemi to show up, trying to understand the secret the city is hiding in order to save Kaname.
Iroha Tamaki is a young woman whose younger sister suffers from a certain illness and whose desire to be fulfilled as a magical girl is to save her. Madoka Kaname arrives in search of her missing friend Homura.
