After the two trailers for the protagonists of Lycoris Recoil, Aniplex and A-1 images They return to show their new original animated series. A promotional image announces the staff, the final artist, and the official debut date.

The official website of the anime, directed by Shingo Adachi, revealed the premiere. Lycoris Recoil debuts on July 2, 2022 on Japanese TV channels. A preview of the series was offered on June 12 at TOHO CINEMAS Kinshichō Rakutenchi theater in Tokyo.

Lycoris Recoil tells thatabsurd everyday life at Lyco-Reco, a Japanese-style cafΓ© in the historical center of Tokyo. The restaurant takes orders of any kind: from coffee to sugary sweets, advice on business or love negotiations, to such absurdities as zombies and giant monsters.

Among the new Employee Announced are Yusuke Maruyama as assistant director, Kenji Sawasa as lead animator, and Hotaka Okamoto and Maiko Ikeda as artistic directors. Spy x Family’s Shuhei Matsuki is composing the music. The ending theme “Hana no To” (Flower Tower) is performed by Sayuri.
Adachi makes his directorial debut in Lycoris Recoil. Shingo Adachi previously worked as a character designer and animation director for Sword Art Online.
