Japan is the homeland of anime and therefore any multinational corporation, whether born in the Land of the Rising Sun or elsewhere, must also use the main animated brands to promote their products. An example is the collaboration between McDonald and Demon Slayer last year, but now there is another anime ready for a partnership: Lupine III.

McDonald’s has launched a new advert in Japan featuring Lupine III stopping by the well-known fast food to order something. The poster published a few days ago on McDonald’s social media shows the silhouettes of Lupine, Jigen and Goemon on a red background, alongside the yellow M of the Panini brand, anticipating by a few seconds the release of a short film.

in the video above, Lupine III stops at McDonald’s for takeout to give some orders, always in his usual car that has accompanied him for decades and with his usual colleagues, the gunslinger Jigen and the swordsman Goemon. The drive-thru was lucky not to be mugged in this commercial by the thief, who instead, after being given sandwiches and fries, sped off in search of more thefts.

Meanwhile, Lupine III will be collaborating with Cat’s Eyes for a special anime.
