The relaunch of the Marvel mutant title Destiny of X, which will start next spring, will be enriched by a new comic series entitled Legion of X. The series will see a new team of X-Men, led by the Mutated Legion, protect Krakoa, the island nation that is home to all Marvel mutants.

Legion of X it will be a regular series written by Si Spurrier and illustrated by Jan Bazaldua. The star of the series will be David Haller aka Legion, the mutated son of Charles Xavier at Omega level, who is played by Dan Stevens in the acclaimed series FX Legion. Judging by the cover of the first issue drawn by Dike Ruan, the Legion-led mutant team will see the presence of Phenomenon, Nightcrawler and Pixie, among others.

For the first time in the Marvel Universe, there is this dense group of beautiful (as well as dangerous) supermen who all live openly in one place.“explains Spurrier.”This place needs peacekeepers, sure … But it would be a mistake to just think of them as cops. You won’t get very far in Krakoa if your imagination is beating people or drawing a gun. The mutant population needs people who can think differently“.

The publication of Legion of X # 1 on US territory is scheduled for April 20, 2022. Below we split the main cover of the issue and the variant by Bob Quinn. Speaking of X-Men, Marvel Comics has announced the return of X Men Vote, an event that will allow readers to vote for a new member of the House of Ideas main team of Mutants.
