The description of the nineteenth compiled manga, written and illustrated by Itaru Bonnoki, Kyuuketsuki Sugu Shinu (The vampire dies in no time), confirmed the production of a second season of the project. This is obviously a huge mistake by the editorial team, because the volume is due to be released in Japan by January 7, 2022. While it is practically an official confirmation, it is worth waiting for the announcement by the anime production, which will surely reach the end of the broadcast.
Bonnoki, for his part, began to publish the manga in the magazine Weekly Shonen Champion from the publisher Akita Shoten in June 2015. The piece inspired a twelve-part anime adaptation produced by the studios Madhouse, Headed by Hiroshi koujina (Grenadier: Hohoemi no Senshi, Madou King Granzort, Star Ocean EX) and scripts written by Yukie sugawara (Hina Logi: From Luck & Logic, Kino no Tabi: The Beautiful World – The animation series, Overlord, No Guns Life), currently airing and starring in Japan Funimation responsible for sales in the west.
Kyuuketsuki Sugu Shinu Summary
Vampires are said to have many weaknesses, such as garlic, crosses and sunlight. The game-loving vampire lord Draluc turns out to be weak against … everything. He dies and turns into a heap of ash with the slightest blow. After learning of the existence of a castle inhabited by a vampire who was rumored to have kidnapped a child, the vampire hunter Ronaldo went there with the intention of defeating the demon. However, it turned out that the vampire was Draluc, a wimp who turns to ashes at the smallest thing. In addition, the boy was not trapped, but used the “haunted house” as his personal playground. When his castle is destroyed, Draluc moves to Ronaldo’s office, much to the chagrin of the other. Despite their differences, they must try to work together to defend themselves against renegade vampires, Ronaldo’s murderous editors, investigators, and many other things, with Draluc dying all the time.
