The New York Times has compiled its own list of the best TV series of 2020, including all shows that have aired or ended this year. Among the best series stand out Better call Saul, the excellent What we do in the shadows and surprisingly even the anime Get your hands off Eizouken.

The anime series, based on Sumito Owara’s manga, aired from January 5th to March 22nd, 2020 and received a prestigious Galaxy Award immediately after graduation in Japan. The New York Times editorial team seems to have particularly enjoyed the animeas he has included it both in the ranking of the best series and that of the best international series. Keep Your Hands of Eizouken tells the story of Midori, Tsubame, and Sayaka, three freshman high school students who work together to create the “final” anime.
