On the official page for the anime adaptation of the manga, written and illustrated by Keigo Maki, Kawaii dake yes Nai Shikimori-san (Shikimori isn’t just a cutie) a new promotional image of the project was released. The press release also confirmed that the premiere is scheduled for April 2 in Japan, while the platform Crispy roll takes care of the spread in the west.

For his part, Maki began publishing this manga on his Twitter account under the title Kawaii dake yes Nai Onnanoko, and later began publishing it through the service Magazine pouch from the publisher Kodansha in February 2019. The publisher published the ninth anthology on July 9, followed by the tenth on October 8 in Japan.

Izumi is a high school student whose life is full of misfortunes. From an early age he always came home with injuries.
