On the official site for the upcoming film version of the manga written and illustrated by Gege akutami, Jujutsu Kaisenwho will bear the title Jujutsu Kaisen 0, it was announced that the voice actress Kana Hanazawa will be part of the voice to play the character Rika Orimoto. The press release included a comment from Hanazawa who wrote:

This project was announced during the final episode of the series on March 26th, is slated to premiere in Japan on December 24th, and will adapt the prequel to the original manga, also known as Volume 0, which is the official title of the prequel Jujutsu Kaisen 0 Tokyo Toritsu Jujutsu Koto Senmon Gakkou. Yuuta Okkotsu is cursed. Since his childhood friend Rika was killed in a car accident, his spirit has stayed with him. But her mind doesn’t appear like the cute girl Yuuta once knew.
