It was reported that the second compiled Blu-ray volume was the animated adaptation of Kami-tachi ni Hirowareta Otoko ((By the grace of the gods) sold 638 copies within a week of their release in Japan.

This compilation pack was released in Japan on February 10th and contains episodes five through eight of this adaptation. The package costs 10,800 yen (about US $ 104) and includes other benefits such as part of the soundtrack, an illustration booklet, and an illustration cover.

The series premiered in the Fall 2020 season (October-December) and had a total of twelve episodes. On the other hand, the light novels by Roy and illustrated by Ririnra are published by the publisher Hobby Japan since September 2017.

Production team

  • Takeyuki Yanase ((Isekai wa smartphone to Tomo ni) was responsible for directing the anime in the studios Maho movie.
  • Kazuyuki Fudeyasu ((Black clover, Jashin-chan dropkick) was responsible for writing and monitoring the scripts.
  • Kaho deguchi ((Uchi no Ko no Tame naraba, Erz wa Moshikashitara Maou mo Taoseru kamo Shirenai) was responsible for the character design and animation.

Synopsis of Kami-tachi ni Hirowareta Otoko

Under the protection of the gods, his relaxed life begins with the slimes! One day, the life of a middle-aged Japanese named Ryoma Takebayashi ends spontaneously and disappointingly. Ryoma was never graceful in his life, but after death three gods asked for his cooperation and incarnated him as a boy in a world full of swords and magic. Ryoma is received warmly and divinely by the gods themselves and decides to live relaxed in the forest for the moment.
