Kaitou Queen wa Circus ga Osuki OVA unveils promotional video

On the official page of the anime adaptation in OVA format of the novels by Kaoru Hayamin, Kaitou Queen wa Circus ga Osuki (Mirage Queen Aime Cirque) the first promotional video of the project was released. The statement confirmed that the premiere is scheduled for the summer 2022 season (July-September) through cinemas in Japan.

The animation project commemorates the 20th anniversary of the literary series. The editorial office Kadokawa published the first novel under the publisher’s label Aoitori Bunko in March 2002, with illustrations by K2 Shoukai. The latest novel was released in Japan on July 14th, and the project marks the first time this franchise has an animated adaptation. In fact, the animation project bears the same title as the franchise’s debut novel.

Summary of Kaitou Queen wa Circus ga Osuki

The novel series takes place in a world full of airships. The Kaitou Queen is someone who never stops stealing what she’s looking for. Their age and gender are unknown. However, a mysterious circus troupe appears with mesmerizing magicians and other special forces in their ranks. The circus group manages to steal the gemstone the Kaitou Queen is looking for and challenges the Kaitou Queen to a competition.
