It’s been a while since Aka Akasaka announced this End of Kaguya-sama: Love is War, his flagship manga. Originally published on Miracle Jump and then switched to the most famous magazine its Weekly Young Jump, the series had an unexpected success and broke some rules of the romcom genre. But now Kaguya-sama is missing a few chapters.

Nevertheless Aka Akasaka will not sit idle. The mangaka is already busy with Oshi no Ko, which was done in collaboration with designer Yokoyari Mengo and also published on Weekly Young Jump. But the Vulcan mangaka has a clear vision in mind and has announced that he will be returning with another series.

On Weekly Young Jump, after the end of Kaguya-sama: Love is War, will prepare to bring another manga. The timing is yet to be determined, but he already has a story in mind and wants to find a designer who can draw it. This means that Akasaka will no longer be drawing and will only focus on the script of Oshi no Ko and the new series.

Maybe Kaguya-sama: Love is War will be your last experience as a manga artist? In any case, it remains to be seen how he will close the ranks of the romantic comedy with the war of the brains.
