The first season of Jujutsu Kaisen was a complete success. All over the world, only the adaptation of Gege Akutami's manga was talked about, and it is no coincidence that this led first to the creation of a thriving merchandising, then to the production of a film, and finally to the production of a second inevitable season.

The Jujutsu Kaisen 2 key visual reveals many things about what future episodes will be about. It was immediately noticeable that Suguru Geto and Satoru Gojo, two of the most promising wizards of their age and high school friends, were younger than usual. The arc of Hidden Inventory will actually be a flashback, focusing on her high school days. With the arrival of Jump Festa 2023, we can see a little more about the two.

That first character trailer of Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 focuses precisely on these two. It starts with some scenes from the movie Jujutsu Kaisen 0, which then moves into a series of sequences with the two boys who are still teenagers. The end of this short video also gives the viewer an important piece of information: Jujutsu Kaisen 2 will debut in July 2023. So it will be some time before we see everyone back in action.

In the meantime, however, several character designs have also been revealed along with the trailer. We start with that of Tojo Fushiguro, a well-placed male with an evil eye, and then move on to a young Satoru Gojo, followed by an equally young Suguru Geto. The picture closes Character design of the unknown Riko Amanai and finally by Shoko Ieiri, another of the wizards' classmates. What do you expect from this second season of Studio MAPPA anime?
