Expected for months, the prequel film by Jujutsu Kaisen Proves to be a real success, hoping for 2 billion yen at the box office in just 4 days, and wins the title of second best debut in Japanese cinema history. To celebrate these results, MAPPA thanked the fans with three new illustrations.
Sharing these special thank you messages with the community was the company’s official Twitter page, which brings back the work of three animators who previously worked on the anime’s first season with director Sunghoo Park.
The first drawing is signed by Sayaka Koiso, which suggested the protagonist and his companions anew in a particularly calm and serene atmosphere. In the second illustration, drawn by Terumi Nishii, the depth is underlined Friendship, the Yuta and Toge Inumaki. connectswho greet the fans. And it is Inumaki himself who returns to Takako Shimizu’s sketch, depicted in a moment of relaxation while reading a book.
