The Chinese streaming site, Bilibili, updated its view ranking for series that aired during the winter 2021 season, revealing that the anime adaptation of the manga was written and illustrated by Gege Akutami, Jujutsu Kaisenalready has more than 400 million cumulative views on the platform. The series has an average rating of 9.8 out of 10 based on more than 150,000 reviews.
Additionally, it was announced that the manga took first place in the platform's popularity ranking, ahead of works like Horimiya, Kimetsu no yaiba, Chainsaw man Y. Kaguya-sama: love is war.
Gege Akutami began publishing the manga in the magazine Weekly shonen jump from the publisher Shueisha in March 2018. The publisher released the thirteenth compiled volume on October 13, followed by the fourteenth on January 4 in Japan. The work recently reached a circulation of 25 million copies.
