Through the official website for the animated adaptation of the manga Jujutsu Kaisen, written and illustrated by Akutami Gege, new designs were revealed for the main characters in the story. The series will be released during the next month of October and its production will be in charge of the studios MAPPA.
Yuji Itadori (Played by Junya Enoki)
A 15-year-old athlete who joins his school’s occult club to avoid the track team. After finding and opening a box containing a cursed spell that resembles a rotten finger, her school is attacked by ghost creatures known as curses. To protect his friends, he consumes the rotten finger and is possessed by a curse known as Ryoumen Sukuna.
Megumi Fushiguro (Played by Yuma Uchida)
A sorcerer who studies in his first year at the Tokyo Technical College of Magic under the tutelage of Satoru Gojou. He meets Yuuji when he tries to locate a cursed high-grade talisman at his high school. He convinces Satoru to try to save Yuuji from his execution after his possession by Sukuna.
Nobara Kugisaki (Played by Asami Seto)
A sorceress who studies at the Tokyo Technical College of Magic under the tutelage of Satoru Gojou. He transferred to the university to be able to live in Tokyo without any expense. She meets Yuuji Itadori and Megumi Fushiguro during their first official mission.
Satoru Gojo (Played by Yuichi Nakamura)
A sorcerer who worked as a teacher at the Tokyo Technical College of Magic. Teach Yuuji Itadori, Megumi Fushiguro, and Nobara Kugisaki. He convinces his superiors at the university to keep Yuuji alive until he consumes all of Sukuna’s fingers.
The series will premiere on the channel “Super Animeism” MBS, TBS and affiliates in the month of October. For his part, Akutami has published the manga in the Shueisha editorial Weekly Shonen Jump magazine since March 2018 and to date a total of eleven compilation volumes have been published.

Synopsis of Jujutsu Kaisen
Yuuji Itadori is a high school student with exceptional physical abilities. Every day, as a routine, she goes to the hospital to visit her sick grandfather and decides to join the institute’s occult club so as not to give a stick to the water … However, one day the seal of the talisman that was hidden in his institute it breaks, and monsters begin to appear. Faced with this turn of events, Itadori decides to enter the institute to save his classmates. What will fate hold for you?
