After the grandiose debut of the first part of the series on Netflix, consisting of 12 episodes, the fans are longingly waiting for the next episodes despite the difficulties of David Production for Jojo: Stone Ocean. The main character Jolyne Kujo, fan idol, contributed to the popularity of the anime.
The girl is trapped in jail for a murder she did not commit, and while Jojo: Stone Ocean is about to uncover a conspiracy hatched by Dio Brando to get revenge on her and her father. Jolyne Kujo will be the protagonist of several fights between stands in the anime that made her a real heroine for all female fans of Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure.
But what’s the real reason everyone loves Jolyne Kujo? Try to answer this question Ai Farouz, Japanese voice actress for Jotaro’s daughter. In the short video interview published by @NetflixAnime Farouz explains on Twitter that “When Stone Ocean was released, a female lead in a Battle Shonen was really rare! Girls can fight great too!“
Jojo: Stone Ocean started its serialization in 1999, and the choice of Hirohiko Araki Using Jotaro’s daughter as a protagonist was certainly very unique. A choice that has captured the hearts of many manga lovers, including Ai Farouz, who is thrilled with her role as the voice actress for Jolyne Kujo.
Master Araki also explained how Jolyne Kujo was born to Jojo Stone Ocean. Who knows, now with the anime in the Jolyne series, she can’t become the heroine of one new generation.
