For those who have never heard of it Jigokuraku - Hell's Paradise, it is a manga that was published in Shueisha's digital magazine Shonen Jump + and ended in 2021 after 127 chapters. It was such a success that studio MAPPA, which was also behind the final season of Attack of the Giants, took care of the anime adaptation.

The new and ambitious MAPPA project will therefore be an adaptation of Yuji Kaku's manga of the same name, which will certainly be talked about given the collaborators involved in the title. Initially, only the work's release window has been announced for a generic spring season, an exact date that has only been announced in the last few hours and which envisages the anime debut on April 1st. The production also revealed that the opening track will be titled "WORK' and who are looked after by Ringo Sheena and Millennium Parade.

For those interested in this animated series, the publisher JPOP, who holds the rights to the manga in Bel Paese, describes the plot as follows: "The feared ninja Gabimaru, considered unbeatable, is in prison awaiting the arrival of an executioner who can kill him. The desire to end it now seems stronger than the will to fight, but the executioner Asaemon's proposal will awaken in him the rage of the past: the possibility of returning to his wife, the only light in his life, if he agrees to dare Enter a magical and deadly land to unravel the secret of eternal life for the Shogun!"
