On the official Twitter account for the anime adaptation of the manga written and illustrated by Yukiwo, Jashin-chan Dropkick, it was announced that next May 28 at 14:00 (Japan Standard Time) a special event will be held in which a new project for the franchise will be announced.

Yukiwo publishes the manga on the website Comic meteor from the publisher Flex Comix since April 2012. The publisher published the fourteenth compilation volume of the manga on April 11.

The work inspired a twelve-episode anime adaptation produced by the studios. Nomad, under the direction of Hikaru Sato and scripts written by Kazuyuki Fudeyasu and Momoko Murakami, released in July 2018. A second season has been broadcast on Japanese television, with the same production team, since April 6.

Jashin-chan Dropkick Synopsis

The story centers on Yurine Hanazono, a college student who summons Jashin-chan, a demon from the underworld. Now they must live together in an apartment in the Jinbouchou district in Tokyo. If Yurine dies, Jashin-chan will be free to go back to hell, so he is constantly trying to murder her.
