Written on the official site for the anime adaptation of the light novels by yuki yaku and illustrated by flying, Jaku-Chara Tomozaki-kun (Subordinate character Tomozaki) the production of a second season of the project was officially announced. This second season will have a total of thirteen episodes and will be titled "Jakuchara Tomozaki-kun 2nd levelalthough a planned premiere date has not been announced.

It should be remembered that in January of this year it was announced that the franchise would have a "new animation project", which eventually led to this second season. On the other hand, the official Twitter account also announced that the voice cast in the franchise's first special event, titled "Jaku-chara Tomozaki-kun Fes!', which will take place on April 16 in Japan. It's very possible that more details about this sequel will be revealed there.

Jaku-Chara Tomozaki-kun

Yaku started publishing the light novels via the imprint Gagaga Bunko from shogakukan in May 2016. In addition to the manga adaptation of Bana Yoshidathe work inspired a twelve-episode anime adaptation produced by the studios Project #9and aired during the season of Winter 2021 (January-March) in Japan.

  • Akane Yano (B: The incipient discipleship, Choujin Koukousei-tachi wa Isekai Demo Yoyuu de Ikinuku du desu!, Netoge no Yome wa Onnanoko ja Nai zu Omotta?) took care of the character design.
  • Hiromi Mizutani (Choujin Koukousei-tachi wa Isekai Demo Yoyuu de Ikinuku du desu!, Jigoku Shoujo, not not biyori) was responsible for composing the soundtrack.

Summary of Jaku-Chara Tomozaki-kun

Fumiya Tomozaki is Japan's top player in the online game Attack Families, commonly known as "Tackfam". Despite carrying such a revered title, a lack of people skills and kindness causes him to fail in his day-to-day high school life. Having no friends, he blames life's twisted mechanics and unfair rules, forcing him to give up and declare himself a lower character in this "game".

After a fateful encounter with another high-ranking Tackfam player, Fumiya is shocked to discover the player's true identity: Aoi Hinami, a popular, smart, and outgoing classmate who is his complete opposite. Aoi, shocked by how inept Fumiya is at anything but Tackfam, decides to help him succeed in what she calls the best game of them all. Through the terrifying trials of social interactions and relationships, Fumiya begins to advance in life's glorious game.
