The cover of this year’s sixth issue of the magazine Monthly Shonen Ace from the publisher Kadokawa confirmed that the animated adaptation of light novels by Junpei Inuzuka and illustrated by Katsumi Enami, Isekai Shokudou ((Restaurant in another world) will have a second season. Further details will be announced shortly.
Inuzuka began publishing the novels through the independent website Shousetsuka ni Narou in 2013 and later the publisher Shufunotomo began its publication on paper with illustrations by Katsumi Enami in February 2015. The publisher published the fifth volume in March 2019.
The first season of the animated adaptation was produced by the studios SILVER LINKunder the guidance and scripts of Masato Jinboand published in July 2017. The platform Funimation took care of its distribution in the west.
