In / ghost was one of the most popular anime of 2020. The 12 episodes, co-produced by Crunchyroll, affected many viewers and led them to experience the supernatural thriller starring Kotoko and Kuro. In / Specter has been renewed for a second season, about which not much has been revealed so far.
In / Specter tells the story of Kotoko and Kuro, two young people who have a special relationship with the Yokai. The two must conduct an investigation to uncover the crimes of these legendary creatures thanks to their supernatural powers.
They were revealed via the anime’s official website lots of news about In/Specter Season 2. Alongside an unreleased key visual, the debut period of the new episodes was announced, set for October 2022. Two new voice actors will join the previous cast: Makoto Furukawa will voice Masayuki Muroi, 32, who has lost faith in humanity, while Aoi Yuki will voice Yuki-Onna, the spirit of a woman who lives in the mountains and is close to Masayuki connected is.
He will direct the second season of In/Spectre Keji Gotoh, former director of the first, while Noboru Takagi will handle the writing. Character design was instead entrusted to Kentarou Matsumoto.
