On the official website of the label’s editorial team Kodansha Lanove Bunko It was announced that the light novels were written by Nana Mikoshiba and illustrated by Norihito Sasaki, Hyouken no Majutsushi ga Sekai wo Suberu: Sekai Saikyou no Majutsushi de Aru Shounen wa, Majutsu Gakuin ni Nyuugaku suru (The Iceblade Wizard will rule the world), will have an anime adaptation, which will be released in Japan in January 2023.
Nana Mikoshiba began publishing the story through the independent service Shousetsuka ni Narou in October 2019. The physical version with illustrations by Norihito Sasaki began publication in July 2020, while the publisher Kodansha will release the fifth volume in Japan on May 2nd. A manga adaptation will be released through the service magazine pouch from Kodansha Publishing since June 2020.
