Various Twitter accounts shared the second opening sequence for the studios’ original anime sunrise, Hanyou no Yashahime: Sengoku Otogizoushi ((Yashahime: Princess half-demon), which debuted with the fourteenth episode. The sequence has the theme “BURN” which is performed by the music group NEWS.

The CD cover for this single has also been unveiled, due for release on January 16 in Japan.
The series has been on air in Japan since October 3rd and is confirmed with a total of 24 episodes on the platform Crunchyroll Responsible for sales in Latin America (in addition to the synchronization produced by Viz Media) and the platform Funimation soon to distribute in Mexico and Brazil.

Hanyou no Yashahime Synopsis
Sesshomaru and Inuyasha’s daughters embark on an adventure that transcends time! In feudal Japan, the half-demon twins Towa and Setsuna are separated during a forest fire. In a desperate search for her younger sister, Towa comes across a mysterious tunnel that takes her to modern Japan, where she is found and placed in the care of Kagome Higurashi’s brother Sota and his family.
Ten years later, the tunnel that connects the two eras will be reopened so that Towa can return to Setsuna, who has now become a youkai assassin with Kohaku. But the worst part is that Setsuna seems to have lost her memories and no longer recognizes Towa. In collaboration with Inuyasha’s daughter Moroha and Kagome, the three travel between two years on an adventure to regain a forgotten past.
